A thought-provoking Substack exploring life, culture, and the search for meaning in today’s world. Written by Chris Stedman, creator of the Unread podcast, this newsletter delves into themes of community, isolation, and purpose, offering deep insights that always linger with me long after reading.
I've been a fan of Dani's work for such a long time, and the Weekly Page is a special treat in my inbox every week! I've found some of my favorite books, shows, recipes, and podcasts through Dani's recommendations over the years. Check it out!
I've followed Alisha Ramos' newsletter since before it was on Substack, and she was a big inspiration for me starting my own newsletter! Alisha always has great recommendations for recipes, books, interviews, and more. This newsletter always seems to be on the cultural pulse, reporting on the buzziest internet happenings. Alisha also does a great job cultivating community, which is extra special to find in a newsletter!
This is a rightfully popular Substack that I’ve absolutely fallen in love with since subscribing. Per their description, “Burnt Toast is an anti-diet, fat-positive community about body liberation.” Virginia Sole-Smith has toooons of essays spanning a variety of topics, especially through the lens of parenting (and even though I’m not a parent, I find it just as useful)!
This was the first substack I purchased a paid subscription to on my personal account. Abigail has amazing cooking tips, interesting article recommendations, and even gives customized recommendations to paid subscribers.
