Hi friends! 

Did you read last Friday’s Oscar-themed issue? In it, I chatted about being in my movie era, and since then I’ve been thinking a lot about how I choose the movies I watch. Living during a time with seemingly endless content, it can be tiring to sort through several streaming services to find the best of the best. I’m also a bit of a “mood watcher” and love to choose films based on a target occasion, emotion, or general vibe. And from that realization, this list was born. Rather than just giving recommendations on what to watch based solely on taste, I wanted to give recommendations for a variety of hyper-specific movie-watching moods. From the perfect sick-day film to my go-to picks for when you can't agree on what to watch! Let’s get into it.
