PS - Is AI Going to Replace Me? (Bonus Issue #16)

Hi friends!

Last winter, I developed a hyper-fixation on all things AI. It started shortly after ChatGPT made headlines. My husband Andrew and I started playing around with the program, especially at debate tournaments where we were both coaches to high school students. We discovered we could use the program to help debaters, as it could generate basic arguments, and it was a fun activity to keep the kids busy between debate rounds. Andrew was particularly obsessed with finding ways to use ChatGPT in his classroom, instructing the program to develop worksheets and quizzes at the 5th-grade level.

The more I played around with AI, the more fascinating it became. I experimented with Bing Chat, testing it to see how much information it could tell me about myself and my friends. And I realized I’d already been using AI in my photography business to make the editing process more efficient. Among all these advancements helping me outsource work hangs a question – will AI replace me??
